Helen Glenn Phelps, 89, a resident of Severna Park for 46 years and previously of Sellersville and Quakertown, Pa. for 16 years, died Nov.12 at home. Mrs. Phelps was born Aug. 3, 1919, in Gastonia, N.C. to the late John LeRoy Glenn and Mary Elizabeth Glover Glenn. After graduation from Queens College, Charlotte, N.C., she worked in Christian Education at the First Presbyterian Church in Valdosta, Ga., where she volunteered at the USO and met Charlie, her husband.
