Morgan Welch Wayson, Jr., 69 of West River died Nov. 18 at his home after a lengthy battle with cancer.
Mr. Wayson was born Jan. 14, 1939 in Annapolis to the late Mary and Morgan Wayson Sr. He graduated from Southern Senior High in 1957 and from
Virginia Tech in 1961.
After college Mr. Wayson went on to run the family construction business, Hopkins and Wayson, Inc., Owings, MD until his retirement. Mr. Wayson was a prominent South County businessman who owned and operated many properties throughout Southern Anne Arundel and Calvert Counties.
