Mary Elizabeth “Betty” Wilson Stevens, 88, of Annapolis died Nov. 20.

Mrs. Stevens was born May 20, 1920, in Brooklyn, Md., to the late James E. and Mary Feathers Wilson. She graduated from Arundel High School and was one of two surviving members from the class of 1937.

She worked as a secretary in Baltimore, Fort Meade and almost 20 years at Millersville Elementary School until she retired in 1982.

A lifelong member of Baldwin Memorial Church, she taught Sunday school for over 40 years and served as Sunday school superintendent.
