William W. Owens, 86, a resident of Annapolis for 59 years, died of natural causes Nov. 24 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mr. Owens was born Sept. 30, 1922, in Baltimore.
He was a civil engineer at the Md. State Roads Dept. for 34 years until he retired in 1984.
He served in the Army during WWII and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. He participated in a pilgrimage to the Normandy beaches to remember D-Day.
