The City of Annapolis has more than 30 parks and over 200 acres of park land. Their facilities offer a wide range of activities. The Roger W. "Pip" Moyer Community Recreation Center in Truxtun Park is one of the city's newest facilities.
Truxtun Park features the new Moyer recreation center as well as an outdoor swim center, boat launch, walking trails, tennis courts and skate park.

Stanton Community Center
The center offers a variety of services including a multi-purpose gymnasium, fitness area, meeting rooms and media center.
The park, created in 1990, was once home to the city's wastewater treatment plant. It features environmental education resources where visitors can learn about watershed conservation and restoration. In 2005 and 2006, 550 feet of shoreline received bioretention techniques to naturally filter runoff. The project has acted as a showcase featuring aquatic grasses, perennials native shrubs and bio-logs.
