The B & A Trail stretches 13.3 paved miles from Glen Burnie to Arnold, Maryland through mature hardwood forests, active farmlands, and urban and suburban neighborhoods on the bed of the Old Baltimore and Annapolis Short Line Railroad. The adjoined BWI Trail encompasses BWI Airport for an additional 12.5 miles of paved trail. A parking lot and a children's playground are located at the Thomas Dixon Aircraft Observation Area on Dorsey Road in Glen Burnie.
