Hancock's Resolution is northern Anne Arundel County's only historic park. The original stone buildings were built around 1785 and are among the few examples of early Chesapeake architecture in the county. The farm grew produce for the Baltimore - northern Anne Arundel area for 150 years. The property was occupied by the Hancock family until 1962.

The farm is part of Anne Arundel County Recreation and Parks and is operated by the Friends of Hancock's Resolution. The park's themes include pre-Civil War life, commerce, transportation and maritime activities on the Chesapeake Bay in addition to the War of 1812 and Capt. John Smith's visit to Bodkin Creek in 1608.
