Naval Academy's Dahlgren Hall

Visitors should use Gate 1. Because of security restrictions, vehicles without Department of Defense stickers may not enter the grounds and visitors must present photo identification to walk through the gates.

Public skate: 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Monday and Wednesday; 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 8 to 10 p.m. Friday; 8 to 10 p.m. Saturday; 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Sunday.
Cost: $4 for active duty military adults, $4.50 for civilian adults; skate rental: $2.50.

The rink is set up inside a 100-year-old building filled with historical items. A replica of a 1950s training plane on loan from the Smithsonian Institution, the largest ship model in the world built in the late 1800s and a gun turret from an old battleship are among the artifacts stored there.
