Quiet Waters Park

Nestled between the South River and Harness Creek, Quiet Waters Park in Annapolis offers a wide variety of family activities. Visitors can walk, jog, or bike on six miles of paved trails winding through hardwood forests and grassy fields, play at the large, multi-level children's playground, enjoy the South River Promenade and Scenic Overlook, or picnic among 336 acres of beautiful park land. Boating opportunities are available seasonally. The park's Visitor Center includes formal gardens, art galleries, public restrooms, and the Quiet Waters Cafe.

Facility Rentals

Picnic Pavilions and the Blue Heron Center are available for rent.

Art Exhibitions

The visitor's center houses two galleries that play host to rotating art exhibitions. They are open Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. Saturday and Sundays. The park is closed on Tuesdays.

Kayak. canoe, boat & bicycle rental

Operated by Paddle or Pedal, the boat rental offers kayaks, canoes, pedal boats, row boats, rowing shells, and a sailboat. They also rent bicycles to ride the many trails in the park. For more information on boat rentals, visit www.paddleorpedal.com or call 410-991-4268.
