Listen, I am not the world's biggest fan of professional baseball. I do, however, enjoy the MLB postseason and the excitement of watching the players dig out their cold weather gear from April.

But if I may make a suggestion to MLB commissioner Bud Selig: Please schedule late afternoon games on networks that have unpopular programming! My DVR really struggled to keep up and record House last night because Anaheim had to come from behind and take the Yankees into extra innings. Luckily...

I could not be any prouder of the Bowie High varsity football team for their 19-8 win over rival Eleanor Roosevelt High School yesterday. The Bulldogs are 3-4 with two straight wins; ERHS is 5-2.

Head coach Lionel Macklin took over play calling a few weeks ago and has now won 3 games since the transition. In his first season as head coach, the former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver (a teammate of Jim Zorn) has already equaled the number of wins from last year's 3-7 campaign!

Congrats,...

The win got the Bulldogs to 2-4 as they gear up for their road game at Eleanor Roosevelt this Saturday at 2pm!

So if I am an embattled coach with fans and so-called experts --- cough --- calling for my job, perhaps it is destiny to be playing a team that hasn't won an NFL game since Dec. 23, 2007.

How does Zorn justify risking a go-ahead FG by going for a 4th-and-goal and handing the ball to Clinton Portis, who isn't even healthy? That call horribly exposes Zorn's inexperience and inability to call offensive plays as a head coach.

REMINDER: Zorn was not hired...
