<title><![CDATA[Crofton Middle student wins contest]]></title>

<description><![CDATA[<p>Louie the Bowie Baysox mascot took a break from the ballpark on Jan. 12 and came to Crofton Middle School to surprise seventh-grader Caroline Kerr, who designed the winning poster that will be used to promote the team&#39;s &quot;Read and Hit a Home Run&quot; program.</p>
<p>Arriving at the school at the end of lunch period, Louie energized the crowd as his spokesperson read aloud a poem to pinpoint the winner of the poster-design contest.</p>...</p>
