Oil painting, watercolors, pastels, ceramics and jewelry making are just some of the media Mary Kay Honeycutt of Crofton uses in her art to express her thoughts, emotions and ideas.

"Art is a part of who I am, starting from an early age," said Mary Kay, who, at age 6, knew she was going to be an artist. She has a bachelor of fine arts degree from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va.

Collegiate and pro lax players will visit Crofton for fundraiser

Testicular cancer will claim 380 lives in 2008, according to the American Cancer Society, which also projects that more than 8,000 cases of the rarely fatal disease will be diagnosed during the same span.
