<description><![CDATA[<p>A Queen Anne&#39;s County judge will decide later this month whether a Kent Island woman was legally insane last year when she poisoned her 3-year-old daughter, then tried to kill herself.</p>

<title><![CDATA[Blaze causes serious damage to Kent Island home]]></title>

<description><![CDATA[Eleven fire companies responded to this two-alarm fire at 2871 Cox Neck Road in Chester on Kent Island at 12:28 p.m. Sunday.
<p>Kent Island Fire Department Chief Paul Schlotterbeck said the blaze caused serious damage to the luxury home, but was mostly limited to the garage and the wing of the home above it.
