When Alice Wilhide started playing bridge 50 years ago, it was the first card game she had ever played. Playing cards wasn't how she was raised.

Cmdr. Greg Hilton, found it strange to be back in his old Severna Park neighborhood after serving in Afghanistan with the Naval Reserve for nearly a year.

He had received a wonderful welcome from family, friends and USO volunteers Nov. 13 after his flight landed at BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport.
