JOB SERVICES: Job seekers in Anne Arundel County have several alternatives in looking for employment, including Maryland Job Service offices at 2016 Industrial Drive, Annapolis and 7500 Ritchie Highway, Glen Burnie.

The two offices maintain current listings of public and private employers seeking applicants. Listings at the job service offices cover the state and include an interstate job bank that circulates nationwide. Veterans are given priority in applications.

Job-seekers can access services over the Internet using Careernet, which offers information on training, apprenticeship and other services. The main number for the Annapolis office is (410) 974-7920.
