Annapolis City Dock
The heart of Annapolis' historic district, the City Dock has remained a bustling center of city life for over 300 years.
The Banneker-Douglass Museum
Named for Benjamin Banneker and Frederick Douglass, the Banneker-Douglass Museum is dedicated to the preservation of African-American history.
The William Paca House and Garden
The William Paca House and Gardens were home to one of Maryland's signers of the Declaration of Independence.
The United States Naval Academy
The U.S. Naval Academy is home to about 4,000 midshipmen who are training to become officers in the Navy.
Reynolds Tavern
Originally the home and shop of hatmaker William Reynolds, Reynolds Tavern once housed a county library.
Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre
The Annapolis Summer Garden Theatre puts on several productions each summer at their open-air theatre, located at the City Dock.
Annapolis State House
The Annapolis State House is the center of Maryland's government.
Old Treasury Building
The Old Treasury Building stands as one of the oldest buildings in Maryland.
Government House
The Government House is home to Maryland's current governor and his family.
Anne Arundel Co. Circuit Court House
The Circuit Court House in Annapolis serves Anne Arundel County for both civil and criminal matters.
City Hall
Located at 160 Duke of Gloucester Street, Annapolis City Hall has served a variety of purposes since it was built in the mid 1700s.
Victualling Warehouse
This building, which one stood on the water line of Annapolis' harbor, was used in the 1700s to store food and supplies. It now houses the Historic Annapolis Foundation's Museum Store and Welcome Center.
Middleton Tavern
Established in 1750, the Middleton Tavern bills itself as one of the oldest continuously operating taverns in the country.
Barracks
Located at 43 Pinkney Street, this barracks was used to house troops during the Revolutionary War.
Shiplap House
One of the oldest surviving buildings in Annapolis, the Shiplap House (left) gets it name from its exterior siding, built using techniques primarily seen in shipbuilding.
Hammond-Harwood House
Built two years before the signing of the Declaration of Independence, the Hammond-Harwood House is considered a fine example of the Georgian style of architecture.
Charles Carroll House
This home was the birthplace of Charles Carroll of Carrollton, the only Catholic signer of the Declaration of Independence.
St. John's College
Founded under the name of King William's School in 1696, St. John's College is one of the oldest educational institutions in the U.S.
Maynard-Burgess House
The Maynard-Burgess House was home to Annapolis' first free black family.
